Our East Africa Initiative journey to Kenya was safe and sound. However, our flight from Amsterdam to Nairobi was bumpy and volatile due to cloudy weather conditions. Thanks to God we landed safely.
We will be heading to the city center and outskirts of Nairobi in a few hours. The official program's operations will begin tomorrow (Tuesday). Next week we will be traveling to Western part of Kenya, back to Nairobi, and next we will head to Northern Tanzania.
We were treated to delicious Kenyan foods. Birds from a nearby neighborhood were singing melodically as though they were welcoming and bidding us a nice stay. Stay tuned for more bits of updates next.
